Performance enhancement training is focused on the improvement of sports performance through either a one, two, or three day a week training program that involves sport and client specific SPEED, STRENGTH, AGILITY, and POWER training.

Acceleration is founded on the mission "to help athletes move faster, get stronger, and jump higher for sporting competition."

Our Philosophy
We hold a philosophy that sporting success is achieved through an individual's power. The power to: dunk a basketball, explode off the swimming blocks, take a spectacular mark in Aussie Rules, and to bust through a tackle in Rugby Union. The power to run, jump, tackle, and kick a ball.

POWER = Strength x Speed

Power is the product of strength multiplied by speed. Therefore, our training programs focus on improving and maximizing an athlete's strength and speed.

We develop strength by using multiple joint exercises that challenge an athlete's balance and coordination while also increasing their strength for that movement. We avoid traditional body building-type training methods and focus purely on athletic performance. So, instead of just building muscles, we build correct movement patterns with overload (weight).

Sports speed is actually acceleration since very few athletes run in a straight line for more than 10 - 20 meters. Therefore, our major focus is on acceleration. Teaching athletes to run efficiently, change direction quickly and move effectively is the objective of this type of training.

All of the above philosophies are useless unless we can convince our athletes that "consistent hard work is the key success in sport and life". Therefore, we give you direction and motivation to train properly, but it is still up to the individual to utilize what we teach them on a daily basis and work at it.

The most rewarding thing has been that our success has been purely due to attaining great results with our clients.
